  Note:  Registration Fees is due immediately at the time of registration. Failure to pay fees on time will lead to cancellation of registration.

  Food vendors will be reimbursed as follows:

  1 ticket - $2.5

  2 tickets - $5

  4 tickets - $10

  Note: Food vendors please review the temporary food establishment criteria for Oklahoma City County

  Terms & Conditions:

  • All food vendors need to use a commercial kitchen. Restaurants should use their kitchen and other food vendors need to rent a commercial kitchen to prep items.

  • Each food vendor needs to have a contract with commercial kitchen. This documentation is needed for Health inspection.
  • commercial kitchen is not needed if all the food being served is prepped and cooked at the event

  • Food Vendors MUST be ready at their stall for food inspectors. Failure to do so will result in disqualification to put stall and forfeiture of their stall fees. If the inspector has any corrections or if they reject the stall, IAOK is not responsible and has to be absolved of all costs and repercussions.
  • IAOK will sell 1 ticket for $3 and reimburse for $2.5. Vendor can ONLY accept tickets. Cash sales are strictly prohibited.
  • All food vendors are allowed to sell water - 2 bottles for one ticket
  • Max rate of item on menu can only be 4 tickets
  • Menu and pricing has to be pre approved by IAOK Executive Committee.
  • ANY CANCELLATION REQUEST FOR STALLS WILL INCUR 50% CANCELLATION FEE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    
  • IAOK WILL NOT REFUND ANY STALL FEE IN THE EVENT OF EVENT CANCELLATION DUE TO ANY FORCE MAJEURE.
    
  • Vendors will not be permitted to display, sell or distribute merchandise, flyers , brochures or products that are of religious /spiritual nature or that display obscene or lewd content.
  • Any flyers, brochures, etc. for public distribution shall be approved by IAOK Executive Committee.

  India Association of Oklahoma solicits your gracious presence to celebrate Holi - the festival of colors and Easter Egg Hunt. Holi is a cultural event OPEN FOR ALL hosted by India Association Of Oklahoma (IAOK). The festival features Easter egg hunt for kids, Holi - color celebrations, social gathering, DJ Music, and delicious food.

  Date & Time: April 19, 2025, 2-5 pm

  Venue: Oklahoma City University, OKC

  Easter Egg Hunt: 2pm - 3pm

  Holi Celebrations: 3pm - 5pm

  This event is FREE for IAOK members.

  Tournament Overview:

  The inaugural IAOK Badminton Tournament is scheduled for May 17, 2025, at Sterling Badminton, located at 600 NW 125th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73114. This event is proudly organized in partnership with Sterling Badminton, the key sponsor of the tournament.

  Prizes:

  • Winning Trophy
  • Medals for Winners
  • Medals for Runners-up

  Rules for Registration:

  • Registration fees for a 

    Team is $40 and Individual Player is $20.
  • Participation in the tournament is open exclusively to players of Indian descent.
  • Participants must be current or former residents of Oklahoma.
  • For team registration, each team must consist of two confirmed players.
  • Individual players may register as well. In such cases:

  1. IAOK will reserve a court shortly after the registration deadline to provide an opportunity for participants to practice, evaluate skills, and select a teammate from the pool based on the chosen category.
  2. IAOK's role is limited to reserving court(s) for a 2-hour period and does not include facilitating teammate pairings.

  Categories:

  • Men's Doubles
  • Women's Doubles
  • Mixed Doubles
  • Junior's Doubles (Under 16)

  Tournament Format

  • The first round will follow a Round Robin format, with teams divided into equal groups.
  • Each team will compete against every other team within their respective group.
  • Matches in the first round will consist of one game of 21 points.

  Advancement:

  • The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals.

  Semifinals and Finals:

  • Both the semifinals and finals will follow a best-of-three format, with each game played to 21 points.
  • Games must be won by 2 points, with a cap at 25 points.

  Important Note:

  • There will be no Singles tournament.
  • IAOK will provide shuttlecocks for the tournament, utilizing Yonex Mavis 350 Nylon Shuttlecocks with a Blue Cap (Yellow).
    

  Important Dates:

  • Registration Deadline: May 3, 2025
  • Practice Session for Individual Players: Scheduled for May 10, 2025 (tentative).
  • Schedule and Tournament Guidelines: To be published by May 10, 2025, primarily aligned with IBF (International Badminton Federation) regulations.
