Tournament Overview:
The inaugural IAOK Badminton Tournament is scheduled for May 17, 2025, at Sterling Badminton, located at 600 NW 125th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73114. This event is proudly organized in partnership with Sterling Badminton, the key sponsor of the tournament.

Rules for Registration:

Registration fees for a
Team is $40 and Individual Player is $20.
- Participation in the tournament is open exclusively to players of Indian descent.
- Participants must be current or former residents of Oklahoma.
- For team registration, each team must consist of two confirmed players.
- Individual players may register as well. In such cases:
- IAOK will reserve a court shortly after the registration deadline to provide an opportunity for participants to practice, evaluate skills, and select a teammate from the pool based on the chosen category.
- IAOK's role is limited to reserving court(s) for a 2-hour period and does not include facilitating teammate pairings.

- Men's Doubles
- Women's Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
- Junior's Doubles (Under 16)
Tournament Format
- The first round will follow a Round Robin format, with teams divided into equal groups.
- Each team will compete against every other team within their respective group.
- Matches in the first round will consist of one game of 21 points.
Advancement:
- The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals.
Semifinals and Finals:
- Both the semifinals and finals will follow a best-of-three format, with each game played to 21 points.
- Games must be won by 2 points, with a cap at 25 points.
